Baptism

WHAT IS BIBLICAL BAPTISM?

Who should be baptized? How should it be done? What does it mean?

Mark 16:16, “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

The Bible teaches that believers in Jesus Christ should be baptized. A believer in Jesus Christ are those who repented and believed that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died for their sins and rose again to life. It’s those who trusted in Jesus Christ for their salvation. We believe that the biblical mode of water baptism by by immersion (going completely under water and coming back up again).  The believer’s water baptism by immersion dramatizes the personal application of the Gospel symbolizing the believer’s death, burial, and resurrection with Jesus Christ.
